Dont you hate it when you get into bike mode when driving the cage?
After I ride the bike for a long time without needing to cage (read: week or two), I find myself leaning into the turns, and a few times I was even trying to shift. *shakes head* No - I am not at all obsessed.
Me too! I even try to hang off and drag a knee but man is it hard to do when a door is in your way.

I've had my endorsement since 1984,but I have tosay I probablydo watch for bikes more than someone who doesn't ride. I do have to say though alot of the bike/car accidents are probably a 50/50 of who is at fault,I've seen more bikes do stupid crap through traffic than cars because they think they can make it by being smaller and quicker.Just my $.02

I was riding before I was driving, so I can't really say. That being said, I found that my awareness of things around me when I am driving a car has been increased sevenfold since I started riding again almost a year ago. I've always been on the look out for bikes when driving a car.

I get really depressed about driving the cage, but I am more careful...and precise with the cage.

...and no matter how well you hit the corners, it just ain't the same[&o]

That's true. I avoid driving the cage when it's at all possible.

i was like that before riding a bike. made the transition easy. also saved me from hundreds of potential accidents in the years of living around Baltimore and DC

I think riding dirtbikes took care of the riding skills somewhat which made it much easier for me to just worry about the new surroundings.
