as for the cruise. do you recomend going without jacket, boots, gloves, etc. don't have any of that yet. i do want to ride. probably saturday up azusa or mountain. who's up?\

Yea what he said and take it easy with out gear and watch out for sand, I got in some yesterday up by Crestline and thought I was done.

If it was not for my incredible riding skill I would have. lol

I'll be up there. I'll be coming from the Glendale side, or maybe up from Sunland (go up Tajunga, hit "9 mile" and cross over to the "front side"). In any case, I usually swing by Newcombs Ranch for a coke or lunch. If nothing else happens, I'll be up there around noon.

Well, the weekend was beautiful. The only people out in force more that riders, were cops. After talking to a bunch of riders who'd been caught in a block/bike inspection up there, turned around and hit the smaller canyons the rest of the weekends. Hope you all had a good weekend with no tickets!

Well, started with a couple buddies on Saturday (one 636 and one '06 GXR600) and went up to Newcomb's ranch. Ran into a group of about 7 other kawi riders from the valley and we all rode down "9 mile" from there - was a blast. Sunday, same 2 riders, Monday, just me and the other 636. Wish every weekend had 3 days. I'm sure I'll be up on the crest at least one day next weekend...
