I agree... unless they enact equally severe punishment for both drunk drivers (which kill or injure far more people in one state over a year than all 50 state's worth of reckless motorcycle accidents) and street racers/drifters/asshats - then this shouldn't go into effect. It is a bias, and that is not how rules and laws are supposed to be. Equal responsibility and equal punishment for everyone... no matter what you are being a dumbass on the road with, I don't care if it is a lawn tractor.
Sro...I know how you feel about these...but you deserve a +1 anyway That is exactly the way that I feel about this as well.

rick, I'm gonna beat your ***...
:P

Kawi750r> Sounds to me like needs a trike with hand controls. Should be fairly easy to do... the Honda ST1300 has 60/40 balanced braking front/rear with just the hand-brake, and I have seen folks attach a more car-styled gearshift **** to shift a bike with your left hand...

I have zero tolerance for anyone driving /riding OUI and evenless for these young drivers with no regard for anyone elses safety racing around with their cell phones permantly glued to the side of their head. KEEP IT OFF THE STREETS AND ON THE TRACK

Another 19 year passenger did not make it this last Sat at my locale in a "street race" incident. They could not stop for the red light. Not bike related, but car racing accidents happen more frequently than not.

19 yr old

DWI, street racing, running from police.....I do think they should get mandatory 10 years. Take a life in the process, 20-30 years. In a cage or on a bike it dosn't matter.
