I have a 2000 zx9r i bought a few years ago and finally getting on the road. I have a Haynes manual also but there is a unhooked red wire with a 10 amp fuse sitting there. The manual shows no red wire hooked into the fuse box or battery. It does look original though and comes out of the plastic cover with the rest of wiring. Here are some pictures. I don't just want to hook up to positive on battery without knowing.
