i got the nut off, took the clutch out and adjusted the tensioner, it was pretty loose, put it all back together sealed up the cover, then i cranked it and it sounds too tight now, funny noise coming out...i had a feeling i overtightnened it so now i got to do this all over again, should be easier though. I would just like some advice on properly adjusting the tensioner, im not sure what is too loose or too tight. im new at this mechanic thing so if there is anyone who has some helpful advice who is more experienced i would appreciate your help...thank you.
