So I rebuilt my bike and I have 92,545 km's on it ... it' gonna reset on it's own as it is..but I'd like to do it now when the motor is brand new....

any insight on speedo resetting / disassembly would be appreciated...

Correct me if I am wrong guys, but I do not think it is possible to reset the odo...It is illegal also..Just so you know....Just like a car, even if you put in a new motor, you are not allwed to change the odo, because the rest of the bike has that many miles on her.

 

just so you all know too.... EVERYTHING wear and tear is brand new. I don't know if it's illegal in Canada but it's gonna reset anyway in less than 8000km's so it won't matter... i figure it's a hell of a lot more ethical to do it now than to let it do it on it's own....

 

I do not think the odo on that one is able to be turned manually.... Can you use a drill hooked to the speedo cable? Then just roll it the rest of the way around to Zero....
