Kudos to the makers of the Haynes ZX-7 manual
After purchasing the 2003 EX500R manual from kawasaki for $75 and feeling totally ripped off, I went for the off brand of manual for my ZX7 and got the Haynes. It was ~$25 shipped.
What a GREAT deal - this manual has far more pictures and better descriptions, motorcycle history, colored wiring diagrams, shop tips (actually useful!), etc. It's a great manual and well worth the money - especially compared to the kawa OEM manuals. Plus it's got a hard cover to boot. Excellent product, a must have for any ZX7 owner.
Now...off to tackle some projects!

Congrats on your purchase. For some reason as an example, I missed where the degreed cams part was laid out nice and simple. I thought the factory was pretty good actually.
I would trust the information in the factory manual over the third party publishers, but the 3rd party books can be much more useful in explaining things.
