Advice??
Hey guys and gals,
I'm not a Kwacker owner yet but obviously looking into it. I'm looking at a P3 (98) thats done 46k and has full service history,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1998-KAWASAKI-...QQcmdZViewItem
What do you reckon to it? It's got a full Akrapovic system, hasn't been raced and thebodywork is good. I'm sure a lot of people will agree with me on this but a Kawasaki has to be green! I've seen reds and blacks with less mileage go for the same price as this but I want a green one! Am I being vain or should I see through the colour and look at the bike itself??
Any advice would be appreciated!

Without closer pix, I have to say it looks pretty damn good for 46k miles (or is that km???). Inspect it close before handing over your cash. Look for leaks & saturation at the seals, and where the hoses clamp on to metal parts. Check the oil - look at the color, check for coolant in the oil, if there is any foaming after it has been running for 10 to 15 minutes. Of course check for oil in the coolant as well. If at all possible - pull the side panels off, check all the seals and gaskets going up the case. Check for leaking/dried/cracked fork seals.
With that kind of mileage - expect something in the way of wear... but unless that is all new plastic and paint - it doesn't appear to be ragged on at all. Check chain adjustment setting of course and sprocket wear as well. Keep us posted and good luck.

Looks sweet, but definitely have it checked by a certified mech. or at the very least someone that knows their sh*** when it comes to bikes. Nice color!!! Good luck
