I raised the rear on mine a little...if you put a spacer in there and lower the front some before dialing in the suspension it really helps improve handling.

It is a nice seat...I am thinking about replacing the covers with something different. Any suggestions?

Comparing these two bikes are like comparing apples and oranges in the bike world. Before buying my 07 650r I sat on a zx-6r and I can say that the zx-6r is alot more agressive then my 650r. I did not like the upright seating of the 650r, but a set of Suburban Machinery bars cured that for me. I bought the 650r though because it was my first bike and did not want anything more powerful, but wanted the body style of the more powerful bikes. If you want a powerful and race ready bike then buy the zx-6r, but if you wanta good bike to start with or just a bike that you can ride everyday then buy a 650r.

Alright...the 650s are nice, I have ridden one, it was ok. Butif I were going to buy a 650 based on looks, it would have to be the SV with the full fairings. Those are nice looking bikes.

I need to go and sit on a few. This would be my first "street bike". I kind of want the best of both worlds and I'll also check out the ZZR. I haven't thought about that one. Nice looking bike!

Since you ride dirt, and so are an experienced rider, go with the ZZR600. Just remember, on a street bike, the rear brake can get you in trouble. Rely on your fronts more but use your rear to get out of trouble.
