WILLOW SPRINGS!!!! The fastest track in the West! Wish I could go but it's a long drive from Texas! I used to race there. WFO!!!

 

actually the "slower" track but more twisty..."streets of willow".
just got home to SD after that fabulous traffic in LA.
was pretty windy/gusty on the track today and pretty chilly. Lots of wrecks on the first 2 laps because people get anxious and ride without warming up the rubber. turn 3 claimed many bikes today including 2 05-06 636s. on my first session and first lap i made it to turn 3 before a rider fell in front of me. instant red flag and we had to leave the track. as the day warmed there were lesswipe outs. great day though. everything went super smooth. Track Daz kept it simple and smooth...plus they only charged us $85 for the day. cant beat that for a track day at streets.
bike ran flawlessly. perfect for that track.
Speed, how could you leave the west coast?!!! Fastrack riders had a deal a couple of months ago where they let you ride the fast track for a day then streets the next day. all for $165 i think. the only thing was that is was scheduled the same weekend as laguna seca and was hot as hell. nobody signed up. that huge sweeper looks crazy. saw the porsches running today and some indy looking cars.

 

Yeah, I really miss Cali and the tracks out there. Which sweeper are you talking about; Willow Springs?

 

yea..the one that borders streets of willow track. looks like you could hit it at 130 mph
