talk about perfect weather for a track day. it has been a few months since i've hit a track day. my ninja will be sitting this one out. i had to go buy a 04 cbr600rr for track days. she is quite bad a$$. fully set up for the track.couldnt stomach witnessing my 636 scraping across the asphalt. i hear it is a race weekend so there will be a lot of racers warming up most likely.

 

unfortunatly im not going. arent they having some other racing going on as well at the track ?

 

yea i think there is racing on saturday. it was a perfect day for a track day on friday. i did awesome for the first half of the sessions. i ended trying to race this guy pitted next to us. he was slow in the turns and fast in the straights. i was faster than him in the turns so i came in turn 2 a little too hot and lost the front end. i think i may have let off the throttle a little. bad time to do that when you are at the apex. did a low side and have it all on film. the caliphotography was kind enough to be on turn 2 as a came around. i even bowed afterwards. cracked a few ribs but was quite exhillerating low siding. adrenaline rush! didnt feel my ribs until i got back to the pit. i should have ridden my ride instead of trying to push it past my skill level. lesson learned.
bike held up well. my friend made a few adjustments and took her out while i sat there nursing the ribs. thank the all mighty i bought a track bike and didnt take my 636. i would be crying all the way home.

if you would have took the 636 you prolly would have smoked all anyways and wouldnt have had to push your skills to the limit.haha ,
