Sorry BigRig, For some reason I thought you had a 636 also. I guess you'll just have to get one to add to your collection along with the ZX14.

No prob bro !! Ya, maybe I will have to get one just to be in the "club" lol lol....I would not mind gettin my bro's ZX11..He bought it a couple of years ago from a custom shop in your area.. Lots of head work, air shifter, ext swing arm..Loads of power. that thing is just awesome. I'll have to ask him the name of the shop he got it from again. It was in the DFW area..
The cool thing about it, is it looks almost stock. That boy has won some serious cash around here with that thing. He calls it his little Busa eater!! lol .. He dynos about 30 more horses than I do..
I have a buddy who has a new 6, he just picked her up not long ago, and it just seems a little on the slow side, or slower than I thought anyway.. I have not been able to test it out on any curves, YET, but maybe she will do better there?? It is completely stock tho..

I am on the stock kawi oil (kawachem 20w-50), I have about 1200 something miles when I hit 1300 I am going to change the oil and filter myself for the first time, with the same Kawachem factory oil. How do I read the different numbers in oils? I know the higher the thinker? whats the first number then W then the second stand for?

The first oil change should be no later than 500 miles on a new engine. The oil they use is made to break down at certain temps so that the valves seal at a certain temp and pressure. As far as the numbers go. The first number is the "weight" of the oil, the higher the number the heavier the oil, different engines with different tolerances require different weighted oils. I would only use 10W40 in our 636's since that is what they recommend. The "W" is for "multi-weight" which is made with special polymers and the last number is the "Viscosity" or basically how well the oil flows. For example water has a very low viscous since it is thin and flows rapidly yet honey has a very high viscous since it is thick and flows slowly. The higher the number, the higher temperature it can withstand before initial breakdown. Hence the recommendation of using 5w20 in a car in the winter and 5w30 in the summer.
As far as buying the Mobil1 oil that I use, I go to my local VIP auto store and they stock it regularly along with the Fram filter.
