I looked in the kawasaki.com site and did not find any issues with the transmission. I was just going off of what a local mechanic was saying about a track bike. So maybe it was not a recall.
I see. Thanks. I could not find any further info on it yet, so I'll just hope it was something that was limited to the track bike the mechanic had. If I do end up with any issues, I'll let you know.

I've never had a problem with the 05 636 and I've had it since out of the box...never even heard that there was a problem...

I did quite a bit of research before I settled on the 2005 Ninja 636. I never heard of any issues of mechanical problems. I think it is the best super-sport bike that was produced for the street, and is still a tough to beat bike. Bar none!! Kawasaki rules!!

I'm not worried. If I have any issues with it, I'll deal with them. Until then, I'm going to have a blast on her! Thanks for the info., I'm sure it'll be fine though.

Default customizing zx 6 rr

I am in the process of customizing my 2003 ZX 6 RR. It has an Akrapovic full racing exhaust, Racing cams, power commander, custom brakes, custom turn signals, and undertail kit. I am in the process of putting on spike style frame sliders, spike 22 set fairing and windshield bolts, heel guard, spike bar ends, and xenon / krypton hid green headlights. More pics later here he is now.

Very nice. How come the pic you posted doesn't show off that sweet exhaust you were bragging about? What did you change the brakes to? Who does your engine work, and set-up? If you could post some more pics that would be great! Thanks!
