my step father got me started when i was 14 on a HONDA CB175.i'm now 49 ride'n KAWASAKI ZX10R .i'm into the curves(that's what the bike was made for) and the 170+mph.i also dirt bike with my 2 sons.

 

I favor the pavement riding. With a good dirt run in between.

 

I started on off road bikes. I bought my first one at 15. I always wanted a sport bike. I remember seeing the 1993 ZX7RR (green and white) in a showroom, and I wanted one. I was around 15. Of course I couldn't afford one, so I had to settle for some lesser bikes. Last summer the chance finally came up and I bought the 2005 ZX6R Ninja. Now I am hooked for life! I plan on trying my luck in some road racing schools this year. It was a long wait, but worth it!

 

I have not been able to try out the 05 6r yet. I have heard of a complaint on the 3rd gear I think it was so check the callbacks.

 

what you ride'n on the dirt ?

 

My first bike was a Hodaka 125 that my step dad bought for $300.00 when we were on vacation with travelers checks. That was a read Dual sport bike. and that was in 1977, fast forward to 2005 and things remain the same.



Oh Ive had road bikes, dirt bikes, a quad and even a three wheeler, but coming back to this bike after that Hodaka all those years ago, it just seems like the circle of life is complete...LOL

I didn't realize how the two compared till I put these pictures together. Good times......

 

I have a 2003 zx 6 rr in mint condition. It has an Akrapovic full racing system, power commander, racing cams, racing brakes, and custom accessories.

Actually I had to sell my last dirt ride a few yrs ago now. '83 CR 480 although I do take out my dads '77 MX 400 to keep things all working from time to time now. Right now I am working on an '85 kdx 80 for the kids.
