Can anyone give the mileages that the oil should be chaged on our bikes. Im at 4000 when should it be changed next????????????????????????????????

 

most people like to change the oil every 3000 km. but only change the filter every other time. it's a good rule of thumb. it seems like you're changing the oil ALL the time though lol. keep atleast one wheel planted!!

 

I'm a commuter. I put 13K miles on my 636. I like to change oil and filter every 2000-3000 miles.

At 4000 I would definately change both now.

 

IMO i would change the oil filter EVERY TIME. whats $10.00 compared to a couple thousand for a motor? when im at the track all weekend for a couple weekends, i change it at 1,500 mi just road miles i change it at around 2,000-2,500 mi.

 

Well i just changed it at 3,000 Ghost Dog so i will most likely change it at 5,000 or something, thanks for the info guys.

 

I change mine every 2k miles. Oil and filter. Oh and I average atleast 8k miles a year
