Default W( . Y . )T!!! Got my hotbodies undertail today.

I just got my hotbodies undertail in today, and I cant wait to slap that puppy on. Ive heard people say that it is very raspy. I wasnt able to find any sound clips of it. Anyone have any knowledge about this? This is not my bike, but its a pic of it for anyone who hasnt seen it. Ill post some pics of mine when i get it installed.

I haven't seen any sound clips either, but I've heard it in person. Sounds bad-***!!!! Very, very raspy.

I'm think of swapping outmy GPR and getting one my self.

One suggestion though, many people have complained of the tips melting the plastic. I would make a trip to your local autoparts store and get some exhaust/heat wrap to keep this from happening.

^+1, but I hate wrapping exhaust pipe because of rust or fatigue issues. A nice heat shield should work out I would think.

Curious: what would you suggest to use for a heat shield?

get the red high temo RTV and a strip of the fiberglass heat wrap. use a roller or squigy and force the rtv into the fiberglass then wrap it around the exhaust. this prevents the fiberglass ehat wrap from holding moisture and accelerating corrosion.you can also run a second layer ontop of that one using the black rtv to make it blend in.

have fun putting it on... mine didn't fit right and a lot of people that I know that have had them don't have much nice things to say about it... but to each his own... once you trim it and get it to sit flush it does look nice...
