upper fork brace replacement
a friend of mine dropped the hell out of my bike. broke the handlebar from the upper fork holder. part that holds the ignition. the bike is a 2006 zx6r
does anyone have an experience in replacing this part? it looks pretty straightforward i just dont want the bike to just drop on me when i take it off. but there isnt much connected to it. and im wondering if the nut in the middle needs to be aligned assigned a certain way. or if its going to spin the bearings and misalign the axle thing that goes to the lower brace. blah blah, anyway has anyone done this?
this is what im talking about. the front struts slip through those holes.

RE: upper fork brace replacement
Remove the nut in the center (27mm or 32mmI think), loosen the 2 for tube clamps on the upper triple clamp only& handlebar clamps, thentake it off. Swap he bars & ignition switch thenreverse the procedurefor installation.
