Default Steel braided lines - time for the upgrade

i cant decide which to get. i do track days once a month and mostly ride the street. i know it isnt super necessary but i know it wouldnt hurt. I am sold on the Galfer lines but not sure which ones to get. they have the superbike version the regular version. the superbike version say "for track use only". what did you guys pick?

That is going to be the next upgrade I do myself just waiting on a paycheck or two.

To my knowledge the "track only ones" bolt straight onto the caliper and don't have the banjo bolts. At least in my state they are "not legal" but whose kidding who, at least 50% of my bike is "illegal." Other than that I have no idea how the track only ones would hold up to daily driving...

And by the way great choice on color... blue is by far the fastest [8D]

Galfer superbike lines are outstanding and have the correct inside diameter and yes the bolt directly to the caliper.

If you do not feel comfortablewith the race only design than Spiegler are very good and have anti twist technology.

Most after market lines are not street legal anyway.

Here is a good read on lines.

I use the SB lines on my 10r for the street. They bolted right up.

Did the SB lines have banjo bolts or union type fittings?

Thespiegler may be easier for the street as you do not need to check and re-torque the fittings as often as you need to with the super bike lines and they have the anti twist technology.

The Galfer super bike lines do havewhat is said to be theoptimalinside tube diameter as compared to other manufactures.

There are guys that race with both setups. I would say go with the one you can get the best price on.

Also do not skimp on fluid. Buy some good fluid and make sure to flush out the old.
