Update for everyone. i got Dunlop sportmax q2's installed on the bike. All i can say is wow these tires are nice and they ride well for the 06 zx6r. I went with a 120/70zr 17 in the front and a 180/55zr 17 in the rear. I haven gotten to ride much with them on since the weather has changed here today to rain but for the short ride i got on them they felt real good i'll keep everyone up to date on the tires as i get some ride time on them.

indeed, let us know if you will have to lower the forks some for your personal corner behaviors/preferences. I hate making tire choices. Good luck and document tire pressures in your log along with suspension settings with a brief personal explanation. Such as, fast turn in, unsettled mid corner feel. Unless you can remember it all. I must be having flashbacks from the Red Pill....lol

dragone right now everything is still set up like it was when it came to me from the factory. The turn in is a little fast than the battlax bto-14's that were on the bike. I still have to scrub in the tires to give a full report. But trust me if you all get the Q2's just be careful on them at first the wax that they put on them is real slick. I spun the rear a couple of times getting on it hard. But i'm sure it will go a way once it's scrubbed in and seated all of the way. Since we all know it takes a tire around 100 mile to seat the tires fully.
