The tire sets for street tires get pretty cheap, chaparral was once 199 for pilot powers and 9/tire for shipping in 48 states, of course not for me.

If your still looking for tires, I just bought a set from motorcyclesuperstore.com. They are by far the cheapest you will find these tires, at least the Michelin Pilot Powers. They are on sale right now, like $100 for front and $130 for rear. Best price i've found on internet.

If anyone else looking for street tires, tire express got the set of Qualifiers for 199.
Still haven't decided on staying with my power race med or trying the 208GP soft.

I am going to switch to Pilot Powers as soon as I need to change tires but I have to say that the stock Bridgestone bt-014's are pretty damn good when nice and warm.

I recently got the new Metzeler Sportec M3 tires, and they are great. I've put about 700 miles on them, including about 400 riding the canyons around San Diego, and these tires stick like glue. They've never given me any uneasy feelings, and they instill much more confidence than the stock 014s. Those tires really disappointed me. Anyways, anybody looking for good sport tires, check out the M3s

If you didn't like the BT-014's, your suspension probably wasn't set-up right. I had the same problem until I set it up properly. Those Bridgestone tires rated really good in all tire tests and by the magazine test riders. I never had any problems at the track day and pushed them much harder that than is possible on the streets.
