I agree. It will be a whole lot cheaper to visit a painless dent repair shop. The cheapest tank I found for that thing is on Ebay. $ 150.00 plus shipping, plus painting it to match your ride. Where's the dent? If you can live with it, put a tank cover on???????

I have the same problem with my ZX6R and it annoys the crap out of me. Mine sounds like it is a little worse than yours though and my only option is to repair and repaint because some of the paint chipped off. For now I have a tank bra on it that covers the chip and 60% of the dent, but it still annoys me because the rest of the bike is in show room condition. Anyhow, I work in the auto body industry and will probably fix it myself eventually, but I agree with the idea to take it to a paintless dent removal guy, they do some amazing things. The only thing is depending on where the dent is the tank may need to be empty or even off the bike. I would ride by and ask their opinion before I went out and got a new tank or went to a body shop to fix it. The PDR guys will charge you about a third of what a body shop will and even if they can't get it all out it will look a hell of a lot better. I hope that helps.
