STIFFER REAR SPRING

RE: STIFFER REAR SPRING
what do you weigh? im 245 without gear and use the stocker. you need two people for this but find a reference point on the swing arm and the tail end of the bike, lift your bike in the air, take a measurement, then sit on the bike and measure again from your reference points. you want about 30-35 mm in sag. the guy who tuned my bike had a wrench and had to use some elbow grease but it works fine. hint if your going to do this is to spray the top of the spring and treads with some chain lube.

RE: STIFFER REAR SPRING
I WEIGH MUCH MORE THAN YOU AND HAD 63MM OF SAG. I'VE TIGHTENED THE SPRING 6 FULL TURNS AND I'M STILL ABOUT 20MM SHORT OF MY DESIRED SAG. BIKE CONNERS BETTER BUT I THINK IT CAN BE EVEN BETTER.
