Nice site Gary. I need to re-spring my forks also. I usually have my forks done by Thermosman. It just doesn't seem worth the money for such cheap bike.

While I havent never done it, from the other posts I've seen changing out springs seems pretty easy. The link that was posted here is also for doing the gold valve seal kit which I believe is a Lot More Work then just installing springs. At 230 I will have to do springs in front and back too. Finally when one see's Front springs advertized for say 100 bucks That's for the Pair Right and not just one spring. Thanks....

Yes, that would be for the pair. Fork springs are not that expensive. The rear spring should only be around $50 but it seems when you go to a motorcycle application, they will charge you $100 for that one too. They know they have you by the short hairs. If you could determine the OD, ID, free length and rate, you could buy the spring for $50 easy. I have done that for my Ducati. It all started with my Formula Ford. I had to buy a lot of springs for that car to get it right. Always $100 a pair. They are almost identical to the shock spring on a bike. The difference was, I knew what spring I needed.
