im looking to get a steering dampner for my 08 zx6r anybody got and suggestons or have a used one for sale? i was kind of thinking about the gpr 4 cuz the ohlins is super expensive. just one more thing that pisses me off about the 09's they have a freaking steering dampner!

 

A set up ride does not need a bandaide.

 

Save your money unless your riding fast canyons or the track. Everyday riding doesn't really require one in my opinion.

I have the GPR V4 mount brackets for an 07-08 ZX6R. $80 shipped. You'll just have to buy a V4 damper.

 

I just mentioned that omalley just because yes, the stock oem pos according to most opinions on dampers is still on my 10r. Get comfy on what you have and get the gal set up. I agree on putting your money where that rider may need it.

 

if you're attempting alot of wheelies and stoppies i'd get one. and yes, that does suck the '09 comes with one lol. the zx10's have had them for awhile

 

i would take the brackets but they all come with them when you buy one and i cant just the damper.
