I ordered the sprocket set-up from sum of all parts for my 06 636. Stock is 15 front 43 rear, and what they say is optimum is 14 front and 45 rear. I only put on the rear sprocket and love it. I didnt want the rpms too high from changing the front also since I drive on the highway to work. You cant beat the price for both sprockets and a new R/K gold chain.

You don't lose hardly any mileage dform changing the front as well. Esp on the highways when you RPM's dont get that high more often than not...

That info from sum of all parts makes sense. That gearing will always keep you in a good powerband but if you're concerned about highway riding and mileage just change the front -1 and it would be like adding 3 in the back. That's what I did when racing on different tracks. It would make a difference low end and you'll keep your top end also. Plus, you won't have to buy a new chain unless your's is stretched out or you just want a new one.

I run the same and would not care about the mileage for what we are getting Want a high mileage bike buy a 250.
