On average how far off is the 05 ninja 636's speedo? Mine has no mods at all. Does the percentage that its off increase as the speed increases? How do you fix it/ make it more accurate?

You probably have at least about a 4-6% error. As far as I'm concerned, you can't do anything about it.

they make speedohealers, advertised a lot on some other forums, i have no experience with them, but what i have heard is they work. yes as you go faster the more your speedo is going to be off, b/c its a percentage, ex: 10% of 10 is 1. 10% of 100 is 10. damn, i know what im trying to say but i just confused myself. tried to use even numbers to make it easier to understand.

For what i can tell Eklipse636 is saying is that the seedometer is off by 10%. Like he said there is a speedo healer out there but i have no idea on how it works. All i know is that if it feels to fast then it's time to slow down. If you ask me.

Kawi speedos are historically about 10% off. Both my KZ650 and both my ZRX's are off.

See if you can borrow a GPS to see how far off it is.

10% is the average inaccuracy.

You can see my post about the speedometer error here. I found a speed radar trailer and tested the bike at different speeds.
