Ok everyone i put the digital speedo thing aside for awhile, considering i can not find a digi speedo for a decent price.
But i am in the middle of working on putting a sound system on my bike. Tonight i mounted a 150watt amp in the trunk thingy of my bike, it was pretty simple process once i found out what fuses to connect the power wires in it took about 15 mins to get it started. The only problem i have is where to install these speakers.
the only spot i could find that wasnt out in the open and out of way of any steering problems is under behind the front farring just below the back of the head lights and off to the side resting on the plastic cover that protects the frame. that is a decent spot but how the heck do i secure the speaker down and make it look decent at the same time. i think i am going to have to take those covers off and have the speakers molded in , that is my only solution. well i am going to have some pictures of the installation up soon in the mean time here is the site where i got the speaker system. http://motorcyclespeakers.net/index.html if you go to the bottom of the page i got the 150watt low profile package. oh they do not mention it but the speakers inside are pioneer coaxials.

Interesting idea, but why would you want to put speakers on your bike? One of the best parts of riding is listening the the exhaust scream when I hit the higher rpm's. Post pics tho when you get it done.
