Sorry if this sounds stupid..
I just want to know the difference between an R and an RR. I never really thought about it. I'm guessing they're performance and/or options differences, but I just don't know which one is considered the "better" option. Really just wondered about it for a while.
The 600cc ZX6RR was made specifically to be able to compete in the 600 Class races whereas the ZX6R was a 636 and did not qualify due to the extra 37 cc's. The RR had a stiffer suspension, and a few other extra add-ons. The 03-04 RR had a slipper clutch, steering damper mount welded on the frame, adjustable swingarm pivot. The 05-06 RRhad the same extras but the ZX6R also came with a slipper clutch. They were only available in Kawasaki Green. For the street, the 636 is the way to go! It's faster and has more low &mid range power.
RR stands for Race Replica. Although there isn't much replica in them any more. When you an RR you're basically getting a full bore race bike. With a few mods so they can put them on the street like lights, turn signals, exhaust, restricted air boxes just for example.
