Default Shifting

Greets All,
I just bought a 04 ZX-6R and have no manual with it. I am trying to figure a few things out on setting it up. What I am currently looking for is how to set the shift indicator light to something lower than the 13K or 14K that it is set at.

Thanks

For adjustments to shift light and rpm setting press Mode and Reset for 2 seconds. Press Mode to adjust shift light settings. It can be off, dim or bright. The shift up engine speed can only be adjusted when the light is set to On dim or bright. Press the Reset button to adjust shift point light activation rpm. It advance 250 rpm from 12,000 to 15.500 and then loops over to 12,000. To get out of adjustment mode press both Mode and Reset again for 2 seconds.

Anyway you can scan that in and send it to me? I did not get a manual with the purchase. the dealer really pissed me off with more than just the missing manual.

Maybe this board only notifies you if there is a new post (not just an edit). I my first post to include the answer.

Thanks for the info. Got it set and working fine. Suppose I should spend the $15 and get the manual.
