so does anyone elses seat start roasting after a while of riding? my temp gauge is up there...180 while riding...212 at lights (btw, it hit 235 today after my ride and after i shut her down). but the seat gets super warm! happen to anyone else?

thanks!
maybe i'll put some dynomat under the seat when i take the tank off.
i did get it not too long ago...still learning about it, but the coolant level is low. they neglected to tell me there was a small leak when i bought it. whatever.

Dynomats a good idea. Also may want to have your exhaust headers and midpipe ceramic coated. It keep the heat from the exhaust and out the tailpipe rather than radiating out and getting the engine, cowling and underseat hotter. I know the guy who does the Ceramic coating for D&D, and he says that it not only redures the radiating heat but also increase the horsepower. My (spare)headers are at his shop right now. I will do a befor and after temp reading to see what the difference is. It's supposed to be at least 20 degrees F.
