Default power commander isntallation

What's up guys! How many hours should it take to installed a power commander? Is it hard to do? A shop told me 2 hours of labor which seems a lot. If is not that hard to do i rather do it myself. Advice please!!

do it yourself.

halfhour to an hour no hard work at all

remove black plastic below handle bars /remove seat and lift tank (hard part is done)

place commander in trunk (as per pic in instuctions)

route cable along exhisting wiring harness (as per pic)

if u are sitting on your bike, the plugs go left to right 1 2 3 4

just unplug one at a time and do all 4 and the other plug and your done.

you will understand the instructions when you look at the instructions that come with your PC this is just them simplified any question pm me

Hey gotrice thanks for the help. I'll do it myself as soon as I get it (within the next five days).

The hardest part is getting the connectors off of the injectors, guess I have big hands.

Don't forget to zero the throttle after the install, look it up on the CD that came with the PCIII. The throttle opening should read 0 degrees when your bike is hooked up to your computer. You can then also check what map came loaded with your Powercommander and make any changes necessory.

use plyers or any other kind of tool you can use to grip the injectors. i used a wire crimper/stripper thing. pulled them off easy.

I have big hands too, and like Evor1 said, I used pliers and it made it way easier.
