Painting fairing/engine bolts.
I was wondering if there was any way i could paint my fairing/engine bolts in my own garage. basically im just too cheap to spend 100 bucks on pro-bolt bolts and wondering if theres a cheaper way to do it

Sure you can..... The only downside is, after time, bike washes, etc.... The paint will fade, installation of the bolts might chip the paint. You could have them powder coated or anodized, but that would cost about the same to just get a new bolt kit. IMO anyway.

I had got a set of probolts for my fairing/ windshield but the bolt heads were huge compared to stock and looked tacky, so I sold them on ebay. I guess if you painted them with Krylon, it would work. Just make sure to degrease them really good with brake parts cleaner or alcohol. Get a piece of cardboard and poke holes in it for the bolt's to stick thru, then paint them. You can use enamel also and leave them out in the sun or use a hairdryer to heat them up to dry harder.
