Default NOS kit?

Anyone put a NOS kit on their bike? I saw one made by edelbrock for sportbikes for $429. Not that I'm considering getting one; just curious.

if one day i want to go faster i'd probably do it.

I helped a buddy install one on an 06 gsxr600... 40shot put down 152RWHP after dyno'd. Before the dyno it went 9.94 in the 1/4 with about 400psi bottle pressure. When the weather warms up he will try it again with 1000psi and hope for some quicker times.

speed.. MPS sells a good kit for a hell of a price. Depends all on how you want the install to go. I can get the solenoid, bottle, nozzle, line, and an activation switch for 200 i believe. when you start to wire everything into the dynojet hub is when it gets expensive (labor wise). but if you do it yourself you save alot of money and it is fairly simple. i know you could do it, though. just takes some brains. but those edlebrock, nos, nx, they all come with alot of stuff you dont neccessarily need. I got a 30 shot on my bike actived by the hub at 7000+ rpmAND 90% throttle and above, automatically switches maps via a cheap $10 relay. pretty much makes it fool proof.

That's some great info. If I ever decide to do a NOS kit, I'll ask you about it.
