Default New License Plate Mount and Light

I fabbed up a new license plate mount and finally got a light for it. haha

I put the exhaust on like 2 years ago and got lazy with the plate so i threw it on the swingarm temperarily. At first i didnt like it but it grew on me and it hung around for a while.

Well, i got laid off of work for the last 2 weeks of 08 and was spending alot of time out in the garage staring at the projects that need to move ahead but just didnt have the motivation to wrench on the car so i started thinking....Damn....I really dont like that plate on the swingarm any more and word on the street at the end of riding season last year was the locals were getting anyone on a bike with no plate light.

So a couple differant designs, some cardboard mock ups of each design and im on to something. Well here it is. I got a LED Plate frame off the net and fabbed up the bracket out of some scarp sheetmetal. Probobly spent more $ on the Crown i was drinkin than the rest of the project but i think it was worth it. I know it is a little offset to the left, i did that to give some room inbetween the mid-pipe and plate. Let me know what you think!

Looks good. Nice size garage too. Plates alway look better underneath. IMO. Doesn't look too offset to the left. It seems to be the way most are. I know mine is but that's the way the holes are lined up.
