Is my 02 ZX6R a 636?

I have been to many motorcycle review sites that say the 02 Kawi ninja is a 636 engine carbed. Is this true? How can I tell if my 02 is a 636?

no, if it is a euro spec then yes. but the us specs didnt start the 636 till '03. it should say on the side of the block or take your vin to your local dealer and they will be able to tell you

yeah just look on your block and if it doesn't say 636cc then it is not, but kawi didn't go with the 636 till 03 in the US like mentioned earlier

I think a 636 engine will fit. I'd like to put an 05-06 636 engine & suspension in an 02 ZX6R or 05-06 ZZR600 frame.

All I need is a frame. Have everything else. Maybe an 05-06 ZZR600.
