michelin a good choice???
okay it is almost time to replace me tires...now i have only used the bridgestone that came with the bike and a pair of michelin pilot power's...
my rear is squared off from too much freeway driving.... but i don't have any chicken strips on the rear...have like 0.25 inch chicken strip on the front tire....
the front tire isn't needing replacement...but i know that i should replace both tires for optimum performance...
i am thinking about getting a pair of michelin pilot power 2ct??? are these pretty good tires???
i know that the tires are better for the corners but that isn't all that i am looking to do..
i really want a tire that will last longer than 10k on the rear...i am almost bald on the top and getting really worn on the sides as well!!! i want something with some stamina
any suggestions besides michelin?? this is of course for a 2006 zx6r

the 2 cts are good. the center is a hardwer compound for freeway riding where the sides are softer for cornering. if thats the happy medium for you then there a good choice in tires. i run a set of stockers strictly for commuting and they have about 2 inch chicken strips all around as where my canyon tires are only used for carving.
another choice are the dunlop Q's
another choice are the dunlop Q's
i heard from a friend that races alot he doesn't like the 2ct because the two compounds he thinks was not blended well...he felt like he would go down for a knee and then all of a sudden he is like way low....i haven't tried them can't really say something...but i think i might go with the 2ct because i do carve sometimes and when i do i like the 2ct idea...might get them...
i am curious though about the dunlop Q's are they pretty good and would u say better than michelin i know the price is expensive for the mich...

everyone ive talked to who has ridden dunlops on the street has said "ill never buy dunlops again"
ive never tried them but my pirellis diablos were a huge grip and cornering improvment over the battleaxe 129 for the rear isnt a bad price imo
not sure on wear life yet though
