How fast does your ZX6R goes ?

Mine 245 kmh@ 14000+ and i think is to slow? is it something wrong with me, or with the bike ?. I have '96 ZX6R , with 14-40 sprocket config

 

so please do the math for me and tell me how fast that is in mph.


my 05 636 did 155mph (true speed) with a -1 +2 setup

I have done that on the streets, but honestly the fun was gone after a couple of high speed runs. Anything can go fast in a straight line. (my dodge ram 2500 quad cab will do over 120mph????) So i must tell you to either take your bike to the track or go find some remote twisties and get a hand full of throttle and then let me know if it still feels slow. if you answer yes, then i want to sponser you in the AMA.


I would rather do 40-80mph hour through some twisties than do 155mph in a semi straight line. JMO

If you are a need for staight line speed junkie then just becareful for you and others around you.

i also love the curves and the zx6r loves them to , but i was just wondering about the max speed is about 153 mph

 

I ride an 06' zx-6r and I had to see what it would do. It topped out at 182mph. That's factory right off the showroom floor.

 

Well guys I got mine to 170 No ****. With nothing added. Just plain, I do curbs, the most was 120, but ofcoruse i am a little of in the head, thanks to the ****ing war...thats my onyl theraphy to get **** off of my head. i still get flashbacks. So riding to the max gets rid of them. Its just you and the road, and your bike in between. of did I mention I dont have a rear break a friend of mine dropped it and broke of the base.You can try it and call on my BS but like I said I am not all there in the head and i love speeds. Like Jumping off and airplane at 35,000 feet while ****ing Iraqis shooting at your *** this as close as I could get...enjoy life and pray for our soldiers..
P.s. I am still trying to push it see how fast I can go before I crash and bite the bullet or it goes no more.

 

05,06 636 will run in the low 160 off the showroom floor with no mods and coorected speedo. they all have about 10 to 12 percent speedo error off the floor.
