can you get introuble for having exhaust thats too loud.?? Cause im pretty sure im not legal haha

 

hahaha, of course you can and will. Plus it makes all riders look like hooligans to the public when the ride is excessively loud.

Yup, 96dB and over gets you a $250 fine where I live! Also as Dragon pointed out, loud exhausts are bad PR for the sport...

 

OK, what did you do; take out the packing and/or center perf pipe of your aftermarket pipe, or just eliminate the guts from your stock pipe? Tell the truth. We probably have already tried whatever you've done.
Tell us what pipe you have on the bike. Has it been rejetted accordingly? I would at least keep the center perf pipe; you can probably get by without the suffocating fiber-packing before you would need to re-jet. Give us more info. It's OK; we won't call the law on you.
