I just bought a black '06 636 today! I had a 250 before this and man is this bike a rush... took a little getting used to for riding position and weight adjustments but im getting the hang of it now and havent been able to get off it the whole day. I bought the bike used with 2000 miles for about 7k. The guy put two brothers pipes(which makes everyone on the street hear the bike compared to the wimpy 250 sound), carbon fiber mirrors and frame sliders on it which is exactly what i would have like t have done anyways. The one thing i would like to know is what RPM's the bike is meant to be run at for city/agressive driving after the break-in, because i think im riding it fairly low due to the change in power from the 250. If anyone has any other tips they would be greaty appreciated.

 

4 to 6 grand now, 7 to 10 grand in the city when you get use to it. red line on the open roads. post some pics of your new bike, sounds bad ***.

 

im gonna wash it and get some pics tomorrow, i cant wait to take it to the oct track day in willow springs to see how it compares to my 250. I'm also still getting used to the position of the front brake seems likes its a little bit further of a reach.
