I would be willing to bet that they are getting more than a 10 hp increase. They are also loosing the low end pull. I personal think slip-ons are a waste on a new bike. With these exhaust valves the exhaust is perfectly tuned for the bike. I will keep mine as long as possible.

I think the jumper mod eliminates the early cutoff of the rev limiter also, and not just the closing of the exhaust valve. That's the only thing that makes sense with this mod. So you get freer flow and higher rev limit up top. That's the only way it can make that kind of HP or just adding the Slip-on would do it.

I THINK that the jumper mod has nothing to do with the valve. People have said that they did dyno testing with and without the mod and the valve is in the same position. You hit the nail on the head with the "why don't slipon's give you 10hp." This mod supposedly works with or without a slip on. So unless you know about this thing for sure, stop acting like an expert and repeating what you read somewhere else; or at least qualify it with an "I THINK" like I did. It's amazing how bad information gets spread. NOT EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET IS TRUE GUYS! BTW, I am still curious about what it does exactly, but all indications are that it does work. I haven't heard of any bad side effects yet, but let us know if you have experienced any.

I did it and didn't notice any difference, but when I put a pipe on, I noticed a difference, when I put new sprockets on I about creamed my pants....next it PC/BMC which will be a noticable difference...

Are you running lean with the pipe and the jumper mod?

the jumper mod just bypasses the exhaust vavle in the stock pipe... put on a slip on and the jumper mod is no longer needed. But you need "FI Fix" to keep the computer happy when it goes to test the valve when your first turn on the key... If you run either a slip on, or air filter you will be okay.. run both and you will run into trouble from it being too lean..
