I installed mine with out taking the fairings off. Just figure out where you want to put the and do a mock set up. Have a friend help. Then make sure you clean where you are installing the lights. Stick them on and run your wires to a designated spot where you are puttinh the switch.

I have my switch mounted right next to the cluster. Then I have a secondary switch that turns on and off the front ones . That way I can ride with the side ones on. I took a AA baterry and hooked up to the light. That way you can put the light, with out attaching it, to see what it will look like. Like I said have someone help you so you can stand back and see what it will look like. Go to home depot and buy some commerical grade double sided tape it holds up alot better. The kit comes with bairly enouh tape. Buy the roll and you will be able to cover the base of the light alot better. Just make sure the area it clean...
