I'm realy torn.
I was going towards the 650R but I think I've decided against it.
I recently checked out a yamaha r6, and some kaw's. zzr600,zx6r and a zx6rr.
I think I want the inline motor. question is, I've looked into it on the internet and everytime I find info on the 636 it also says zx 6R, are these bikes one and the same?
any info would be great. I will most likely go with a bike that is a couple of years old. $$$

The ZX-6r is a 636 so yes they are one in the same. And I wouldn't get to hung up on the ZX-6rr either. It is almost the same bike as the ZX-6r except that it only has 600cc instead of the 636cc. (that and they are hard to find) I have a 05 ZX-6r and I ahve been very happy with it so far.
the ZX-6R's are also a 636IF the bike wasmanufactured between 2003-2006 They only made the 636 model for 4 production years all other years for the ZX-6R's are only 600cc.

Well... It depends on what you want the bike to sound like. Some cans will make the bike LOUD, some will just give a little rumble. Also most new motorcycles are fuel injected, so no jets. You can get a Power Commander, a fuel mapping control box to change how much gas is shot into the combustion chamber. Believe me man, all you have to do is search exhaust, and you'll get enough opinions to to make you cross-eyed.
