I think I might want the 636 as long as I can get risers if im not comfortable with the handle bars.

I've got a Leo Vince, and a power commander...and lots of other stuff. I just got new grips and bar ends, I'm getting a steering damper and rear hugger next week hopefully I haven't had a problem finding aftermarkets so far.

 

They don't need to be "Jetted". The 03 and newer Fuel InjectedZX6R's (636)& ZX6RR's require re-mapping of the air/fuel mixture through the use of a Dynojet Power Commander or similar device. Jetting electronicallyis much easier to change and try different Maps.

 

IS THIS YOUR FIRST BIKE? I BOUGHT MY FIRST STREET BIKE LAST FALL AND GOT A 05 ZZR600 AND LOVE IT. ENOUGH GET-UP AND GO TO KEEP MY ATTENTION FOR AWHILE AND NOT TOO MUCH TO START OFF WITH AS LONG AS YOU RESPECT THE ANIMAL. I MUST SAY I WANTED A 636 BUT PRICE AND THE FACT THAT IT'S MY FIRST POINTED ME AT A ZZR. EITHER WAY I THINK YOU'LL BE HAPPY W/ WHICH EVERONE YOU DECIDE.

 

My first bike 2006 636 ZX6R. Love it and have had no problems finding after market parts for it.
