Exclamation HIDs not working and im going through fuses

So I have had HID’s on my bike for a year now. The low beam has always worked great. The high beam on the other hand has had some issues. I have had a problem with it flickering so I replaced the ballast after a month. I still had the same problem and has been working (but flickering) for the last 10 months. Now the high beam is shutting off. I found that the power and ground wire arcs out randomly. So I rewired the HID kit. Still no luck. Then I thought it may be the cheap connectors so I soldered them together, again still no luck. I got a used HID kit from a buddies 10R. Now it pops the headlamp fuse after 3-5 seconds from when I turn the high beam on. I then installed a regular 100W H7 (non HID) and it works fine. I just ordered a new HID set and installed them. As soon as I hit the high beams it pops the fuse again. I am at a loss… any suggestions?

The bike is a 06 ZX6R

i found this a little while ago when i was lookin around for hid kits

http://www.f-sane.com/guide/05zx6rhid.pdf

this is from page 13
"Installed and ready to use HID's. Make sure to change the fuse for the
headlights from 10A to 25A. This will prevent the fuse from blowing in the
future. Most people have both lights on at the same time, this will support the initial
surge of power that the ballasts use to ignite."

Thanks for the reply’s.
I just have one question can the stock wiring/circuits hold up to 2-2.5 times the amperage vs. stock.

i dont know too much about hids but from the way i read the high amps are just from the initial start up of the hids and they drop once on?
