Well I for one will say it. Thank all you officers that put yourself out there every day. I am always telling my son and really everyone I know that I am so glad we have laws, enforcement, and people that help us out when things get out of hand.Thank you all for everything you do,and I mean that sincerely.[sm=thanx.gif]And yes if you speed, and get a ticket, your fault, don't wine. But more than that, think about your families that want to see you ride another day, and remember that you are not the only ones that are hurt or worse if youride way too fast, there are people out there besides you.

 

Deej, you're right once again. When I Speed, which is Rarely, I do it safely and responsibly on an open highway so I don't endanger others. When I got the ticket (on an open highway), it was for a stupid move; I should have just let my friend go. At that specific moment when he took off,I was saying to my self, "What the hell is he doing?". Just had a feeling someone was watching.

And Yes, I have 2 boys and a wife and I would like to come home in one piece from riding; let alone not get arrested and keep my job to support my family. Trust me, I don't like going fast on the streets. Speed is for the track. Yes, I am saying this and listening too.

honestlyI hate pulling people and do it as little as possible!!! Its definitely not one of the things I like to do. I'd rather help somone....I still hold the record for warnings at my old pd......I hate hard copies.I know people at my old department who wrote a lady a speeding ticket because she was on her way to the hospital with her very ill child......I told the officer that she needed to go look up compassion in the dictionary and then get back to me (I was Sr. Patrolman to her...she was a rookie)....and then she got a write up AND had to formally apologize as well as pull the ticket. She is one of those people that would write her mom a ticket....no lie. Thats just not me.....I mean why mess up someones record.....its just not cool.
