Default worth restoreing?

I have a 1999 zx6r that runs okay but looks like crap. Do you guys think it is worth putting money into to get it where it needs to be? It has only 10k on the od. I really hate payments to a dealer. Plus I would have to sell mine for a down payment.

I have a 96 that I am doing the same with. Does anyone know of a good website to find cheap parts and maybe even an online manual for these bikes?

+1 for fixing it. You can always get newer style plastics for it.

Heck, fix it. If you bought a new 06 ZZR600, it's almost the same bike as yours, so fix it. It'll be cheaper. You can find most parts on ebay.

How much are the new ZZR600's going for $6K or $7K. You could spend less than a thousand $'son yours and have it looking just as good.

ebay! if anything- make it a stunt machine - or a track bike. Track bike would be the cheapest to get her to sell....(well, if you're not into the stunter look)
