While moving steadily we are all gravy, at or under the 1/4 range. (coolant temp). But when I am moving slowly or stopped it cranks up to 3/4 before the fan kicks on and at that time it still only gets to the 1/2 mark.. I hate dummy guages. I was thinking about bleeding the coolant system, figuring that perhaps there is air trapped in the system. What is the best way to bleed this system out? It obviously doesn't bleed itself.

Bike has 44,000 miles on it now.

At that mileage I would do a flush, fill and bleed. If you already have that yes do a bleed.

 

I already flushed and filled but I am unsure of how to bleed it.
