yeah there isn't anything in there for chemicals...plus it is winter here in NH so the humidity is kinda low...haha

and yes I started it up that day and really wanted to go for a ride but my buddies driveway is a sheet of ice so I kinda decided against that idea

hmm, check this....

Weather for Portsmouth, NHAdd to iGoogle

33°FRain
Wind: N at 10 mph
Humidity: 96%Tue

33°F | 25°FWed

28°F | 9°FThu

19°F | 4°FFri

28°F | 18°F

Unless your buds have a nice dehumidifier, I would say that you are at 100% humidity. Now, take the chlorine, ammonium sulphates, and what ever pool water additives are involved? I would suggest you pick a different parking spot for your ride.

yeah yeah, its raining today so it is a little humid but that is unusual...plus the bike is covered now anyway...and I have no where else to put it at this point.

Thanks for the advice though

Are you kidding me? It's been almost 40 out for a couple of days last week up here in New England... I actually saw a couple people on their bikes... It pissed me off because mine's in my parent's basement up in NH and I'm in MA only a couple more months before I can start riding again. As soon as it's consistently 40 the bike comes back out!!! Where's 'El Nino' when you want it?

you are right it has been rather warm lately but from the New England weather I am used to that isn't normal...anyway the bike is stuck there for now...maybe if the next week is in the 40s long enough it will melt the ice over there and I can move it again

and maybe go for a ride
