well i finally bit the bullet and ordered a sprocket and all the 300 carb parts as well as the kdx snorkel yesterday! can't wait to install! just thought id share my excitement! keith

You might have to slap yourself after getting and installing all the parts ordered. It's really hard to believe it's the same bike!

Remember to send along your thoughts on the bike after you install the parts.

I know this is hard to do, I wanted to do it, but got caught up in the excitement of getting the parts in and riding. Might you find a spot where you can do some testing? If you have a GPS with MAX SPEED, take it with you. Don't worry about elapsed time as MPH is more indicative of horsepower. Have a measured distance - anything over 1/4 mile is fine and it doesn't have to be exact. Make a pass and see what speed is on the GPS. Make a couple, just to see if it's pretty much the same - it should be.

After the mods are in, go and do the same. I'll be the MPH goes up, which will indicate horsepower has increased.

And we keep saying we don't have a dyno!
