Welcome to the forum. It's the servo stop. Post a pic of it when you get a chance. Most likely it's positioned/ designedwrong by the manufacurer. Look at my racebike build pics; I posted a picture of where/ how the cam should be clocked.

yeah so it's def. positioned wrong the line on the top of the shaft faces the wrong way itpoints towards the nose then moves clockwise and sets again pointing towards the tail, what should I do the sevice manual doesn't really give me to much info. Can I take off the whole butterfly valve actuator and repositon it myself?

i didnt think the butterly vlave stayed on with the new exhaust. you should be able to take it out and put the servo stop on that should be all that is needed,

if you got impatient like me putting on my exhast and turned the bike on without the servo stop in place then it is unwound and you need a new servo, i got one on ebay for like 15 shipped.

also, if you want to just eliminate the servo and butterfly alltogether there is a comapny that makes a replacement box to take the place of the servo

hope this all helps

Take the servo stop off and turn on the ignition, let it rotate 180 degrees and reinstall the stop. The line on the servo shaft should face away from the cable brackets. Post a picture of thr servo stop.
